It is nice to see the eFootball franchise
crawling out of the hole it dug itself into last year. Going free to
play was probably not the best idea for those of us that enjoy quality.
It was definitely not the right decision for anyone that is into
quantity. eFootball 2023 adds additional content that makes it a bit
better to play for a longer period of times. I had been told that many
months after we reviewed eFootball 2022 that more content was added. We
applied our re-review policy to that game.
eFootball 2023 looks fantastic. Especially when we see the players going
into and out of the locker rooms. That is a neat visual that make this
video game feel a bit more real. I also enjoyed watching the players
stretch before a game. The announcers continue to be good and relay the
excitement of scoring and almost scoring. It is rare to get a break away
but when you do the announcers let the players know something is about
to happen.
Every single year we play these soccer video games and every single year
we have issues with the shooting button. The shooting button likes to
build that charge really fast. In fact it almost always winds up with a
few shots going way over the goal. eFootball 2023 is no exception to
this rule. The thought hit me this year that soccer video games need to
fix this. Why do we just accept this ultra fast bar on shooting?
eFootball 2023 earns the award of being the first video we ever streamed
on Rumble. There can only be one number one and eFootball 2023 took
those honors. Noah and I had a blast live streaming eFootball 2023 on
Rumble. We plan on trying to get that video on our other video sites as
time and money allow. Family Friendly Gaming Universe really needs to
make sure to subscribe to us on Rumble. You never know when we will be
streaming there, YouTube or Twitch.
All in all I like eFootball 2023 better than eFootball 2022. There are a
few too many online modes for me personally. I would like some more
teams in eFootball 2023. I thought there would be more since eFootball
2023 is over fifty-one gigs in terms of memory. I also want to be able
to purchase a physical copy of eFootball 2023. Are you listening Konami?
eFootball 2023 is a step in the right direction. More steps are needed
though.
