Transformers King Grimlock #3

I am thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the Transformers King Grimlock #3 comic book. Please be aware there will be spoilers in this review. There is no recap at the start of Transformers King Grimlock #3. You better know what has been going on or you may be a bit confused. Characters do give small recaps to things that happened in the past when they are talking. Arko is a great example of this. Grimlock has finished training the Anglorans and gives them his word that he will continue to fight the Red Wizard as long as they continue to fight.

There is an interesting twist in Transformers King Grimlock #3 when Grimlock gets to the Red Wizard. He sees through the illusion and realizes that the Red Wizard is not a human. He is actually Quintesson. In other words the Red Wizard is a robot like Grimlock. As expected Grimlock absolutely decimates and destroys Quintesson. The people celebrate and we are left to wonder what is next for Grimlock. The Golden One is still left. Soltron is mentioned numerous times within Transformers King Grimlock #3 as well.

The issues families will have with Transformers King Grimlock #3 are blood, violence, magic, and more in Transformers King Grimlock #3. The Red Wizard brings forth quite a few undead beings to try and fight Grimlock and the Anglorans. The whole necromancer concept continues within Transformers King Grimlock #3. Thankfully the Red Wizard is defeated and we do not need to deal with that anymore. I suspect there might be other Transformers on this world as well. I do not have the next issue of this comic book so I will have to decide if I want to continue the story or not.

The graphics in Transformers King Grimlock #3 are on the dark side. Ya'll know my preferences. I prefer bright and colorful graphics. Transformers King Grimlock #3 is much darker than I enjoy reading. Hopefully we are now done with the Wood-Bots as well. There are twenty-four pages of content, next issue page, alternate covers, bio for the Red Wizard and then some advertisements within Transformers King Grimlock #3. Some of the ads are interesting within Transformers King Grimlock #3.

The story within Transformers King Grimlock #3 is the only thing that has kept my interest. I am curious where this will go. I am also curious when Grimlock will become king. After all it is called Transformers King Grimlock. Will Grimlock every make it back to Optimus Prime? Will the other Dinobots ever join Grimlock? There are plenty of interesting ways this comic book could go in the future. Arko is really mad and turning to the dark side in Transformers King Grimlock #3. Her story is looking more and more like a tragedy.
