I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was sent a retail version of The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1 on DVD. There are two DVDs that contain the first thirteen episodes of The Patrick Show. It takes 293 minutes to watch The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1 from start to finish. The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1 is all about Patrick (from Spongebob) and his family. We meet his mother, father, sister, and grandfather. There are plenty of guest appearances from characters from the Spongebob television show.

Expect plenty of Looney Tunes kind of violence within The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1. There is also a lot of comic mischief within The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1. Halloween and Christmas are referenced within The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1. There are references to jobs, trips, food, and more within this television show. The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1 also has ghosts within it. Two ghosts are scared and turned back into normal characters. I found that really odd. There is some light content that could be interpreted as sexual deviancy within this show as well.

I find one thing really lazy about The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1. Patrick is the star of his own show within the show. They could not come up with some profession or have him hop around professions within The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1. Instead he is making a TV show and being a star of that show all while what we are watching is a television show. A lot of The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1 is his sister (aka the producer) trying to get good shows out of Patrick.

Spongebob had plenty of dumb moments. Many of them involved Patrick. The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1 excels at the dumb moments. I rarely laughed while watching The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1. I have laughed at a fair amount of the Spongebob content. The lack of consistency within The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1 is what bothers me. Parents forget their children, and the grandpa forgets his grandkids in The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1. This is not all the time though. At times they know one another and other times they don't. Yet they don't act on it. If you don't know who someone is why let them stay in your house?

There are actually a few educational moments within The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1. They go inside the body of the father and show off different areas of the body. The art styles range within The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1. None of them really spoke to me personally. I am a bit perplexed how Patrick has a time traveling door in his room. The Patrick Show Season 1 Volume 1 does not explain this.
