The Adam Project

I am very thankful we had the money to pay for Netflix so we could watch The Adam Project. This science fiction film stars Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, and Jennifer Garner. The whole time travel concept in The Adam Project really caught my attention. All I knew is time traveling fighter pilot Adam Reed teams up with his twelve year old self to save the future.

The issues families will have with The Adam Project are bad language, blood, violence, and more. A married couple reunites after not seeing each other for some time and there is references to their having some romance time. Nothing is shown and the twelve year old leaves his future self and wife alone. It was actually done very tastefully and I appreciated that.

There is a lot of humor within The Adam Project. The whole concept of getting bullied and beaten up for having a sharp spicy tongue that insults others can be pretty accurate. We laughed quite a bit while watching The Adam Project. When Ryan Reynolds starts talking it makes a lot of sense to listen to him. His humor comes fast and furious in The Adam Project.

There are plenty of really cool time travel concepts used within The Adam Project. We find out the timeline has been altered to benefit one person. That lady is the bad character trying to stop Adam. The Adam Project deals with what happens to you when your younger self dies. The Adam Project teaches that each person belongs in a certain fixed point in time.

Plenty of time traveling rules are broken within The Adam Project. The whole mission is in essence to stop time travel from ever happening. Which is a bit odd since that would ultimately create a paradox. They went back in time to stop time travel which means they never went back in time because it was never invented. I am very sorry if that makes your head hurt. If you want to know more look up the grandfather paradox.
