Super Onion Boy 2
SCORE: 73

Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital
download code for Super Onion Boy 2 on the Nintendo Switch. This version
of Super Onion Boy 2 can also be found on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and
Xbox Series X. I was not even aware of the Super Onion Boy, let alone
Super Onion Boy 2. The memory required size for Super Onion Boy 2 is
forty-three megs. Super Onion Boy 2 is only available in the digital
download format in the United States of America.

The indie graphics in Super Onion Boy 2 are joined by the chiptune
music. There are eight different chiptune musical scores in Super Onion
Boy 2. I found the music to be a lot of fun in Super Onion Boy 2. It
helped me enjoy this 8-bit like experience. We must collect coins and
stars while we play Super Onion Boy 2. We are also after those who stole
the carrots. How could they? The bunnies need those. We can't have
carrot cake in this game because the carrots were stolen.

There are a plethora of treasure chests in the thirty levels of Super
Onion Boy 2. Some of the chests contain items that will give our player
some kind of power up. The power ups range in Super Onion Boy 2 and
provide differing abilities. We may wind up in a bubble or have a magic
wand that can launch farther attacks. My favorite power up in Super
Onion Boy 2 is to be able to double jump.

As we progress through Super Onion Boy 2 the enemies will become more
difficult. We can ignore them, jump on them, shoot them, or find some
other way to dispose of the enemies. It is usually easier to use
violence to progress in Super Onion Boy 2 than to try and avoid them.
Players must dispose of the boss characters in Super Onion Boy 2 to
		progress to the next level.

Super Onion Boy 2 reminds me of so many other 8-bit titles. It is easy
to see the different influences in Super Onion Boy 2. They range from
Super Mario Bros to Megaman. The more I played Super Onion Boy 2 the
more I noticed. For me that is one of the joys of playing a game like
Super Onion Boy 2. I hope there is a Super Onion Boy 3. It would also be
cool to see Super Onion Boy 2 as part of a physical copy compilation.
The Evercade might be a good system for that.
