Savage Spider-Man #5

This is absolutely hilarious to me. I decided to give Savage Spider-Man five issues to see if I wanted to continue the series or not. Savage Spider-Man ends in Savage Spider-Man #5. That is a little bit unbelievable to me. I actually appreciate that I will not need to read anymore of Savage Spider-Man after Savage Spider-Man #5. Please be aware there will be spoilers in this review. Savage Spider-Man #5 wraps up the storyline in a nice little bow. The bad guys Immaculatum and Baron Zemo go after Savage Spider-Man to stop him from reprogramming their missiles.

While Savage Spider-Man is fighting off these bad guys he is also having a mental conversation with the Mad Thinker. The Mad Thinker has a massive brain that is a major problem. The two of them explore the options in the final seconds of the missiles flying at the people all over the planet. Many of them will die if the Immaculatum get their way. Savage Spider-Man plans on having them lose all free will. This is where Savage Spider-Man #5 gets all radical far left preachy on what they feel are the ills of the planet.

In the end of Savage Spider-Man #5 Peter Parker decides to keep free will. Anger, hate and strife would be lost if he rewrites all humanity. The problem is love, joy, and friendship go as well. Savage Spider-Man #5 teaches that we have to take the bad with the good. We can hope there is more good than bad in the world. There are twenty pages of content within Savage Spider-Man #5. There are also additional pages like the thank you, and Marvel Remembers George Perez. What finally changed Peter Parker's mind is when he accessed his emotional memories.

The issues families can have with Savage Spider-Man #5 are violence, blood, woke politics, evolution and more. I love the Savage Spider-Man costume in Savage Spider-Man #5. It is a really cool costume that I hope appears in other media in the future. Savage Spider-Man #4 was trending higher and Savage Spider-Man #5 continues that trend. It is a bit of a shame this series ends here because it was finally starting to go in the right direction. There are still issues and problems within Savage Spider-Man #5.

The debate within Savage Spider-Man #5 is one I have had with others in the past. We have so many people being hateful and rebellious against God in our world. Forcing them to do the right thing takes away free will. You become the villain by making them do the right thing. It takes a level of maturity to realize that you have to accept the good with the bad. The same goes for things like free speech. We must accept that there will be people that say things we will vehemently disagree with. Destroying the lives of those who say things you disagree with makes you evil.
