Slide Stars
SCORE: 70

Slide Stars is a very simple and
interesting concept. Take influencers, put them on flotation devices and
put them in water 2D side scrolling courses where they must get to the
finish line. Think like Trials Rising on water without the offensive
music. That is essentially what Slide Stars is. I never heard of any of
the people in this game at all. Since I am an influencer I had plenty of
people ask me if I was going to be a playable character in Slide Stars.

I can tell you that no one approached me about participating in Slide
Stars. I would certainly bring some bulk and muscle to a large cast of
mostly skinny people. There is some cartoon violence as characters can
be hit by things like dynamite, and there is a lack of attire,
enticement to lust issues in Slide Stars. Most of the women have one or
more bikinis they can wear in the water. The flotation devices is where
		Slide Stars gets really interesting.

The more Peter and I live streamed Slide Stars on Twitch the more fun we
had. We also unlocked more and more content. The characters and
flotation devices control differently. At first there can be
frustrations with things like jumping. Later the controls improve with
better characters and better flotation devices. I really like the
Tabasco bottle personally. Levels get more difficult in Slide Stars as
		we progress through the game.

Slide Stars has a local multiplayer option which is awesome. It is
really easy to crash and die in Slide Stars. When there are two players
one will respawn as long as the other is still alive. We played it safe
after one of us died most of the time. There are collectibles in Slide
Stars like star pieces. The graphics in Slide Stars are clean, bright
and colorful. There are plenty of upbeat comments from the characters.

I enjoyed the music in Slide Stars. The more I played Slide Stars the
more I got into it. There is an addictive nature to this game. I liked
some levels better than others personally. The single player experience
is a bit on the hard side compared to the two player experience. We ran
into a few glitches here and there with Slide Stars. Ultimately I
enjoyed my time with Slide Stars. This Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and
Xbox One video game has the potential to become a cult classic. I am
very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code
for Slide Stars. There are physical copy versions of this game
		available.
