Today is the best day of my life. Family
Friendly Gaming received a digital download code for Jet Set Knights on
the Nintendo Switch. What kind of a video game is Jet Set Knights you
might be asking. Well let me tell you what kind of a video game Jet Set
Knights is. This downloadable only video game on the Nintendo Switch,
Playstation 4, and Xbox One is a 2D tower defense game. We have screens
in Jet Set Knights that are like a side scrolling level.
What happens on these 2D side scrolling levels in Jet Set Knights? We
have a knight that can collect money, resources and better weapons.
There are specific spots on the screen where we can place defenses.
Those defenses will take out the enemies that come in waves. The better
your defenses the better your chances of stopping all of the enemies
before they end your level. Your knight only has three hearts so you can
lose this game that way too.
Jet Set Knights has retro graphics and retro music. I really got into
the music while playing Jet Set Knights. The levels in Jet Set Knights
have spots that are easy to jump up to the next level and there are
areas where you will bump your head. Jet Set Knights is an extremely
challenging game that hardcore gamers will get into. Casual gamers and
family gamers will most likely not find Jet Set Knights as pleasurable
of an experience.
The issue families can have with Jet Set Knights is the violence. We
dispose of monsters in Jet Set Knights in a variety of ways. We can use
defenses, or different weapons the knight collects while playing. The
area drops in Jet Set Knights are so random. I would get wood one time,
and metal another time. I might get a spear at one point, and arrows
another time. I never found a pattern to this while playing Jet Set
Knights.
There are also quests that pop up while we are playing Jet Set Knights.
An example would be to defeat ten of a certain monster. The modes in Jet
Set Knights are Single Play, Multi Play, Settings, Stats, and Credits. I
was rarely able to beat the first wave in Jet Set Knights very often.
Thanks to me that princess is never ever going to be saved. I hope she
gets comfy where she is currently at. I don’t even get to find out she
is in another castle.
