There are so many days within the video
game industry that are draining. Dealing with so many liars, deceivers,
creeps, scum, greed, venom, toxic hatred, and more can be a real downer.
There have been days I wondered if anyone within our over nine million
readers are listening, and acting upon the plethora of issues we have
exposed in the video game industry. Being one of the few lights in such
a dark, dank, vile, and wicked industry can be tiring. We yearn for more
light. We yearn for more goodness.
Then a digital download code for Hamster Bob came in on the Nintendo
Switch. We make so many companies so much money with our hard work that
I forget everything we have seen, published, talked about, asked about,
and more. This one hundred and sixty-eight meg digital download is a
breath of fresh air. Hamster Bob is a kids game with some actual
learning in it. Kids can enjoy coloring in Hamster Bob as well.
Hamster Bob will talk to the player on the Nintendo Switch and explain
what they need to do. We color objects and friends in five different
stories on over thirty sheets within Hamster Bob. Along the way Bob
quizzes the player on things like how many apples were on the tree.
After playing through the stories we can dress Bob up with different
outfits. Bob is a very safe and fun friend for kids to have on the
Nintendo Switch.
The coloring in Hamster Bob is wonderful. We cannot go outside the lines
while coloring in Hamster Bob. This is very important to me since I am
horrible about staying within the lines. This review should prove that
beyond a shadow of a doubt. Hamster Bob looks nice and it sounds nice.
The animation of the animals after they are colored is not very
extensive and the lines stay on the animals. Kids will not mind this one
bit.
Hamster Bob has pleasant and upbeat sounds. I enjoyed the music while
playing this kids game. I do not think there is a way to fail in Hamster
Bob at all. The amount of content is good for the under $5.00 price tag.
There are no physical copy versions of Hamster Bob in the United States
at this time. I wish there were because parents are always looking for
good games (while at the store) for their kids on the same systems they
play on.
