Fishing Adventure

Ya’ll know me. I like fishing games. I love catching fish. You might have even caught some of my sponsored streams where I am playing fishing games. Sponsored streams are so much fun. Maybe I will do one for Fishing Adventure at some point in the future. I am glad Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code to Fishing Adventure on the Nintendo Switch. This game is just over one gig in terms of size.

I wish there was a physical copy version of Fishing Adventure. I could not find one here in the United States on the Nintendo Switch. Which is a real shame for the millions upon millions of families within the physical copy movement. There are seven areas in Fishing Adventure. Each area is in a different country. We can play the areas once they are unlocked.

Players can level up their character while playing Fishing Adventure. How do we do that? We catch fish of course. We are given two options after catching a fish. We can sell it or we can release it. Selling it gives us more money, and releasing the fish gives us more experience. This is a neat way for families to decide which is more important to them. Do you want more money to get better gear? Do you want to be better at catching fish.

The controls in Fishing Adventure are fantastic. We use ZR to cast, and then ZL to reel in. When you want to catch a fish you let the bobber sit in the water. Once a fish brings it down far enough gamers can press ZR to hook it. Then we just need to press ZL to reel the fish in. Then you can decide if you want more money or more experience. I had no trouble learning the controls in Fishing Adventure.

Fishing Adventure looks neat, and it sounds great too. I loved the rustic sounding music while I was on the menu screens. We can play Fishing Adventure or we can complete the quests. The quests are generally catch this many fish in this amount of time. Beat one to unlock the next one. I had fun playing Fishing Adventure. This is a solid fishing game that families can get into.
