Pangolin's Puzzle

You might have read the News story about
the release of Pangolin's Puzzle on the iOS and Android platforms. This
game is great news for families on so many fronts. It is a puzzle based
app that contains strong themes that are friendly to Christians. Which
is something we have called for here at Family Friendly Gaming. We were
provided a digital download code and a code for infinite butterflies.
We were provided digital download codes for Pangolin's Puzzle on the iOS
and Android. I purposely decided not to use the infinite butterflies
code. Pangolin's Puzzle is selling for $3.99 and the infinite
butterflies token is selling for $2.99. There is also an in-app purchase
for one more butterfly for $0.99. Please note prices can change after
this review was written.
Why didn’t I use the infinite butterflies code? I wanted to see what
Pangolin's Puzzle was like from a pay one time customer. Codes are not
always helpful – at least not to me. I did not see any way for the
butterflies to naturally replenish. So if you do not want to pay for the
in-app purchase then you are stuck in Pangolin's Puzzle. I thought I did
things to solve puzzles in Pangolin's Puzzle only to find out it did not
accept my solution.
Pangolin's Puzzle can lead to frustration if you are stuck. Knowing that
50% of the in-app purchases go to help conservation to save these
animals may not help you want to pay for this game a second time. This
is exactly why I did not use the infinite butterflies code. I wanted to
see this game from that perspective first. At times the directions can
be vague and the same goes for the codes. Pangolin's Puzzle looks nice
and it sounds really good.
Issues families can have with Pangolin's Puzzle is the violent related
content. It was fantastic to learn about these animals. It is awesome to
see a Biblical world view in the dialogue. If you like challenging
puzzle video games then definitely check out Pangolin's Puzzle on iOS
and Android. I would love for this game to port over to the Nintendo 3DS
at some point in the future.
