Out of the blue we are seeing an influx of new Playstation 4 VR
titles here at Family Friendly Gaming Universe. Which is too sweet. I am
grateful Winking Entertainment sent Family Friendly Gaming a digital
download code for Unearthing Mars on the Playstation 4 VR. There are ten
interactive scenarios in Unearthing Mars. Playing Unearthing Mars feels
like playing an interactive story book.
I might as well get the bad out of the way. Unearthing Mars shocked me
with horrible, nasty, ugly, mean, and hateful language. It really
stunned me. That kind of potty mouth was not needed, and distracts from
what could have been such a better experience. There is also some
violence, glitches, and choppy animations in Unearthing Mars. I ran
across teachings of worshiping false gods in Unearthing Mars. I was not
able to see my character's body. Which is a personal quibble.
I liked seeing Mars in Unearthing Mars. The creativity, and graphics
look neat in Unearthing Mars. I had issues with the controls in
Unearthing Mars. I had to use the two Playstation Move Controllers with
Unearthing Mars. That has never been my personal favorite control
method. I can understand why Unearthing Mars did it. It is not my
personal preference again.
It can take two hours or a bit more to get through Unearthing Mars. We
get to do light VR tasks in Unearthing Mars. The game is a bit short for
the price of admission ($14.99) in my opinion. I know the developer has
to get their investment back. I also know of cheaper games that last
longer. So there is that. I only know of the digital edition of
Unearthing Mars. Apologies to all of the physical copy gamers.
Make sure you are VR trained before playing Unearthing Mars. My head
felt a little fuzzy after playing Unearthing Mars too long. My stomach
also let me know the disorientation was real. Unearthing Mars shows me
that PS4 VR is growing, and developing. I am thankful I was able to play
and review Unearthing Mars on the Playstation 4 VR. This game was an
experience.
