PixlCross

PixlCross is one of those downloadable only video games that is so
good that is deserves a physical copy. I would recommend PixlCross in
retail stores to friends, family, and people that ask my advice on what
games to buy for their systems. This puzzle game is fun, fresh, and
fabulous. I had a blast playing PixlCross on the Wii U. I would love to
see a PixlCross amiibo too.
A lot of families are getting hammered by Internet Service Providers
(ISPs) with expensive Internet plans that financially punish them for
downloading too much. Thankfully PixlCross does not kill most families
since it is just over one hundred megs. Families get over one hundred
and fifty puzzles with that download. They are in easy, medium, hard,
and bonus.
If that were not enough, families can create their own puzzles in
PixlCross. There is also an option to download the puzzles of others.
Again it is wise to check on your Internet plan to make sure downloading
does not financially punish you. I wish there was a better way of
distributing levels that did not impact Internet usage and cause huge
financial fines to families.
The tutorial in PixlCross is very important. I tried to play the first
level in PixlCross and could not figure out how to do anything. So I
searched around until I found the tutorial menu option. Pressing 'L' or
'R' and tapping on a spot marks it as a place where a block goes.
Families can figure this out by looking at the numbers on the top and
the side of the grid. Or you could do something else.
What is the something else you could do with PixlCross? You could hold
'L' or 'R' and tap on every space. If you are wrong the game will
correct you. This is actually the fastest way to solve the puzzles in
PixlCross. There is a down side to this though. You won't get
achievements or awards. But then you could go back into the puzzle once
you know what it is and do better. Yes I know that is sneaky.
I had fun playing PixlCross on the Wii U. The music is nice, and the
graphics are okay. We are making pixel versions of objects. I hope to
see more games like PixlCross in the future. It was a joy and a pleasure
for me to play PixlCross on the Wii U.
