I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was provided an iOS
download code for Snowboard Party 2. This snowboarding game is selling
for $1.99. It also has in-app purchases that are not really needed. I
enjoyed learning how to play this game, and to complete the various
objectives in the different modes. There are twenty-one courses for
families to shred in.
There are a couple of issues families may have with Snowboard Party 2.
There is loud music in Snowboard Party 2 that just sounds like noise to
me. Are there lyrics in Snowboard Party 2 that your family may find
offensive? I am not sure. I suspect there could be. I did some research
on some of the bands included in Snowboard Party 2. I saw lyrics that
would be considered offensive in some circles. I turned the music off
while playing Snowboard Party 2 since it gave me a headache.
Snowboard Party 2 has on screen controls. That means an on screen
joystick, and buttons. There is a button to jump, one to grab the board
with the right hand, one to grab the board with your left hand, and a
button to grind on a railing of some kind. The joystick is on the left
and the other buttons are on the right. Snowboard Party 2 controls
better than I expected. There were still issues since the buttons can
not be felt - something touch controlled only gaming systems continue to
have a problem with.
Snowboard Party 2 is very kind to players in terms of doing tricks,
scoring points, and landing. It was rare that I crashed with my
snowboader in this downloadable only hand held video game. There are a
long list of options available in Snowboard Party 2. To be blunt, in
many ways Snowboard Party 2 feels like it was developed for the Nintendo
3DS. I honestly expect a port of Snowboard Party 2 to the 3DS at some
point in the future. Maybe even on store shelves.
Players can get some massive air in Snowboard Party 2. When your fingers
are properly on the controls, and everything works right there are
plenty of cool tricks that can be performed. There are different outfits
in and more in Snowboard Party 2. Please note certain outfits will show
skin in Snowboard Party 2. The graphics in Snowboard Party 2 have large
character models that are impressive to see on the iOS. The courses are
long with numerous things to do, like spell a word. There are multiple
paths in the courses in Snowboard Party 2.
