Monument Builders Alcatraz

Monument Builders Alcatraz

I have been enjoying the Monument Builders franchise from Microids Games for some time now. I was very happy to see there was a new game in the franchise - Monument Builders Alcatraz. You probably guessed by now that we are building Alcatraz in this downloadable only app. That means having to deal with organized crime and Al Capone. There are henchmen who try to get into our way in Monument Builders Alcatraz.

Monument Builders Alcatraz is selling for $2.99, and at this time there are no in-app purchases. Meaning you pay one time with Monument Builders Alcatraz and you are not required to pay again. Which is absolutely awesome. I despise the repeat pay to play apps. The more families support pay one time only apps like Monument Builders Alcatraz, the more there will be on the market place.

Monument Builders Alcatraz is a time management game where we send out workers to repair the neighborhoods, build the factories, and send delivery trucks back to the main base. We are required to feed animals like pelicans to make them go away. We fix roads, and tap on the gangsters to knock them out. Certain resources are needed to complete certain objectives.

The faster a player completes a level, the more stars they receive. Collecting points also fits into that rating. Pay close attention to the goals that are needed to complete a level. At times I did different things, and should have focused on a goal. Monument Builders Alcatraz did not chastise me for it though. Instead Monument Builders Alcatraz let me play at my own pace. I could collect all kinds of cupcakes when I needed concrete to fix a road. Or I could chop down trees when I needed to feed a bird.

The graphics start small, but players can zoom in. In fact I prefer playing Monument Builders Alcatraz in the zoomed in mode. It makes it easier to find all of the obstacles. Swiping around the levels is really easy in Monument Builders Alcatraz. The music in Monument Builders Alcatraz is pleasant and reminds me of that era. I really enjoyed the time I played Monument Builders Alcatraz.
