Jasper Journey to the End of the World

Family Friendly Gaming was recently blessed with a reviewable copy of Jasper Journey to the End of the World on DVD. This 2008 Toons'Tales Film Production clocks in at eighty minutes. There are no special or bonus features in Jasper Journey to the End of the World.

Jasper is a penguin in an icy area surrounded by icebergs. The penguins in Jasper Journey to the End of the World teach the world is flat and there is nothing beyond their iceberg circle. Jasper finds evidence there is in the form of a green bird. No one believes him.

Junior is the brother of Jasper in Jasper Journey to the End of the World. Thanks to Junior a quest is begun where Junior and Jasper see more of the world. At the same time a little nine year old girl Emma is facing the same issue of authority figures (her father mainly) not believing her.

The three birds work diligently in Jasper Journey to the End of the World to steal some rare parrot eggs from the evil Dr. Block. His plan is to use the eggs in his drink to scare kids into obeying their parents. Is Jasper Journey to the End of the World teaching kids to be disobedient to their parents?

There are comical moments in Jasper Journey to the End of the World that kids will enjoy. The style of artwork can take some getting used to. The same can be said for some of the voice acting. I know many of our readers encourage me to voice act in movies like this one. I would hope I could have done a good job, but I have not walked in a mile in the shoes of the voice actors.

Jasper Journey to the End of the World has a slight anti-human message and theme to it. The main message in Jasper Journey to the End of the World is to not conform, especially when you know another direction is the right one. It reminds me of what we do with FFG. We do not follow the herd mentality of so many of the gaming media websites. Instead we take a different path.
