Dungeon Explorer Warriors of the Ancient Arts

Dungeon Explorer Warriors of the Ancient Arts is a hand held hack and slash role playing video game on the Nintendo DS. Someone awoke the demon god in this hand held game. Players pick from a limited amount of races and characters to go and kill off thousands of monsters. Quests are completed to open new areas and broaden the game.

It is really easy to get stuck in Dungeon Explorer Warriors of the Ancient Arts on the Nintendo DS. At times you need to talk to certain characters, and then go back into a dungeon to progress the stories. At other times you need to find secret hidden rooms to progress. Other times you need to kill off everything in a room or certain characters.

Dungeon Explorer Warriors of the Ancient Arts was initially created with online play in mind. Grinding or purchasing an Owon (a robot helper) can help with harder areas. The AI in the Owon’s are terrible though in boss fights. I could never keep one alive in a boss battle.

The main game play mechanic in Dungeon Explorer Warriors of the Ancient Arts is to build up an attack charge bar. Attack the enemies. Run around and let it build again. Attack them again. Repeat this in area after area, and boss battle after boss battle. It gets old really quick. After killing everything you can find go back to town and identify the item drops. Buy new and better armor, and then put items and money in the bank. Dying will lose half of your gold. So it is smarter to leave it at the bank.

With each level players are awarded points to increase their stats the way they see fit. Forgetting to do so after say five level ups can make Dungeon Explorer Warriors of the Ancient Arts extremely difficult. Dungeon Explorer Warriors of the Ancient Arts is ultimately a boring, bad looking, violent game.
