Tappingo
is similar to Picross games our wonderful readers will remember from not
that long ago. Players have numbers all over the screen of Tappingo. It
looks kind of like Minesweeper. Well a reverse Minesweeper. We tap on
the number and swipe which direction we want blocks to go.
The key to Tappingo is finding which direction to make the blocks go. A
level is only complete when all of the numbers have been used. And they
have to be used accurately. Go too far and the number goes into the red.
Don't go far enough and it flashes what is left.
Expect some trial and error while playing Tappingo on the Nintendo 3DS.
This downloadable hand held video game contains 104 different puzzles.
Once you complete a puzzle you can see what picture you have created.
This is why Tappingo reminds me of Picross games. In fact you can use
the image on the upper 3D screen to help determine which color goes
which direction.
Tappingo is a thought provoking game on the Nintendo 3DS. It has mellow
relaxing music that helps the time go by. There is a clock on each level
to let you know how long it took you to complete it. You may be
surprised how long it takes you complete a level. At times you will need
to back track to find the right solution.
It is my opinion that families will get their $2.99 dollars worth out of
Tappingo. You know what? You will get your moneys worth and then some.
This hand held game may wind up in your top ten games in terms of time
played. I am very thankful that Family Friendly Gaming was provided a
download code to review this game. I am also thankful I was allowed to
play and review Tappingo on the Nintendo 3DS.
I hope to see more games like Tappingo released on the Nintendo 3DS. It
is clever, original, fun, and very family friendly. I hope you will
prayerfully consider supporting Tappingo on the Nintendo eShop. That way
more games like it will be released in the coming years.
