Anyone ever tell you motorcycle racing is easy? If so, please ask them to play MotoGP 14 on the Personal Computer (PC), Playstation 3 (PS3), Playstation 4 (PS4), and Xbox 360. Even on the easiest setting this home console video game is tough.

Family Friendly Gaming was provided a download code for MotoGP 14 on the Playstation 3. This game is massive. It clocks in at 8.9 gigs. Since it was over the 1 gig ceiling Family Friendly Gaming set, I had to request special permission to download this racing game. Physical copies of games are always better than download codes.

MotoGP 14 contains numerous game modes. There is Instant Race, Grand Prix, Championship, MotoGP Career, Real Events 2013, Challenge the Champions, Time Attack, and Safety Car Mode. MotoGP 14 can be played by one family member or two family members. There is also an online mode if your Internet Usage Plan allows for that kind of usage.

There are neat little videos of the cities we race in. I liked seeing the city before starting the race. The graphics within MotoGP 14 while racing does not look that great. Maybe I have played too many next generation games. There are great tutorial voices, and a nice announcer that explains the track.

The easiest things I was able to do in the tutorial of MotoGP 14 is crash. I found all kinds of different ways to fly off the motorcycle. If it were the real world I would have sent multiple racers to the hospital for many months. I tried to be careful, and then the computer would lap me.

The biggest lesson I learned in MotoGP 14 is how hard motorcycle racing is. My skill level is not even entry level into MotoGP 14. Which makes me think families will get frustrated with MotoGP 14. Which is a shame because I wanted to declare MotoGP 14 the next big racing game.
