Just Dance 2015

There is a reason the Just Dance franchise is the king of the dancing music games. This dancing game consistently gets better with each release. Some years the improvements are better than others. Just Dance 2015 is better than Just Dance 2014 in my personal opinion. And I have still been playing Just Dance 2014 a year later.

Family Friendly Gaming was provided a reviewable copy of Just Dance 2015 on the Xbox One. We are very thankful for this from Ubisoft. I do need to make the point that the value/cost of all of the coverage we have published thus far is much higher than the cost of the game. So please keep that in mind when you wonder if there are biases going on. Ubisoft has not financially compensated me or anyone else affiliated with Family Friendly Gaming.

The graphics are more crisp and clean in Just Dance 2015. There are all kinds of things going on in the background. We like to rotate dancers here at Family Friendly Gaming. That way we can see the game from different angles. I may miss something while dancing a song. I catch it when watching though. The same goes for others here at Family Friendly Gaming that worked on Just Dance 2015.

I really can't help myself when I am playing Just Dance 2015. I get competitive, and want to do better each time. Do you know what ends up happening? I am dripping wet with sweat. Just Dance 2015 will give you a work out before you know it. Then you have to peel your clothes off.

The only drawback to Just Dance 2015 is the lyrics in some of the songs. I personally feel the offensive lyrics are at a lower decibel in Just Dance 2015 than what was in Just Dance 2014. I recommend families look over the songs, check out the lyrics, and listen to pieces of the songs before purchasing. It is better to be safe than sorry. The attitudes, opinions, teachings, and lessons in Just Dance 2015 may line up with your beliefs, and they may be directly opposed to them. Plus there are a lot of different songs in this home console video game.

Just Dance 2015 has some quirks in it. Such as there is a song with the offensive XMas, instead of the accepted Christmas on the song title. However when you listen to the song it actually does say Christmas. I am confused as to why there was censorship of Christ on the screen.

Some of the cool new features in Just Dance 2015 are the Just Dance Wall, Community Remix, World Dance Floor, and Challenge Mode. You will need Xbox Live Gold for those last three. Family Friendly Gaming was provided challenges without Xbox Live Gold, and was able to compete against others across the world.

Just Dance 2015 starts with forty tracks, but climbs up quickly. Especially with different ways to play certain songs. The Kinect Sensor 2 did a wonderful job grading our moves. The playlist in Just Dance 2015 contains a wide array of songs for a variety of musical tastes. I just wish there was some current Christian artist in there. I will be retiring Just Dance 2014, and replacing it with Just Dance 2015.
