Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper
SCORE: 59
So often in reviews we comment on having
to digitally murder thousands of the same looking characters. That is
literally true in Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper. In the first level my
characters murdered over two thousand. Hordes of enemies would walk up
and accept a beat down. Then another one, and another one. At some point
I would forget what my quest was even about.
I played Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper a couple of ways. I even went the
completely non-violent route for a time. That worked until I had to beat
some guy to open the guard gate. Adult members of the family are
encouraged to kill as many enemies as they can as quickly as they can.
The more you kill the quicker you level up.
Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper feels like being in an ancient Eastern battle
field. There are weapons from that era, and the whole mood feels that
way. There is also a mythological feel to Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper. With
the Orochi, and the impossible odds the player faces. At least I felt
they were impossible until I started easily wading through hundreds of
the same looking enemies.
The bad guys are part of a demon army that our characters have to do
away with. Otherwise life as they know it in this video game ceases to
exist. Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper includes a huge cast of playable
characters. Some come from other Tecmo Koei franchises.
Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper contains a nice array of unlockable content. I
love being able to play this Wii U game on the Wii U Gamepad. Let me
explain why. I can turn the television set off. My kids can be in the
same room with me watching a DVD or playing a family friendly game on
another system. They never have to see or hear any part of Warriors
Orochi 3 Hyper. This Wii U feature keeps the environment safe for them.
I am so glad there are subtitles in Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper. I could not
tell what the characters were saying. Nor am I sure what language they
were speaking. Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper includes some bad language that
could have been left at the door. There are enticement to lust issues,
and of course the violence. Hacking and slashing is taken to ridiculous
levels in Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper.
