TwinGo

TwinGo is the best new app I have played all year long. This game is amazing. You have two characters that must roll around through the levels. Swipe up to move them up, swipe down to move them down, and so on. The catch in TwinGo is both characters move that direction. Which would be a breeze expect for how intense many of the levels are.

Anyone out there remember Adventures of Lolo?  Maybe Adventures of Lolo 2? Or how about Adventures of Lolo 3? I ask these questions because TwinGo feels like Lolo in so many ways. There are differences between the franchise that is true. But the feel of the puzzles reminds me of those games from long ago. Another way of saying it is this - TwinGo is on par with a legendary series.

The graphics in TwinGo are bright, colorful, vibrant, and alive. TwinGo is completely safe for the entire family in the visuals. If you drop one character off the edge you can see unhappiness in the other character before you can quit or retry the level. The characters themselves are cute and very adorable. I hope they make plushies of the characters in TwinGo. Collecting stars is a very noble act in my opinion as well.

There is one word to describe the music in TwinGo. That word is fun. The music and special effect sounds in TwinGo are happy, alive, vibrant, and pleasing. I felt bad when I dropped one of them off a ledge. It was like: "oh man, I don't want to cause these great characters any pain." They are wonderful characters in TwinGo.

There are currently ninety-levels in TwinGo. That is almost a penny per level. I expect there will be additional levels released in the future. Each level contains three stars. It will take a master gamer with a twelfth level intellect to acquire every single star. I may be intelligent, but some of the levels in TwinGo are insane. There is a solutions option in TwinGo.

The bad side to the solutions option is it takes so many minutes to load. I solved levels on my own before it charged up enough. The puzzle concepts in TwinGo are insane. TwinGo will have you thinking about how to solve the level better. I kept trying to find ways to get all the stars and get to the next level. TwinGo is at the level of a brain teaser, but it never feels too difficult.

If the game is crashing on you in weird places like trying to get to the second level screen of the levels screen, then please update. I verified that the update does fix those game crashes. TwinGo is such a wonderful game that it earned the Family Friendly Gaming seal of approval. I hope and pray Chillingo continues to release upper echelon titles like TwinGo in the future.
