Treasure Seekers 4 The Time Has Come
SCORE: 82
I love to play hidden object games. There
is something mentally refreshing about looking around a screen to find
hidden items. Treasure Seekers 4 The Time Has Come tones this down, and
makes players time hop to find specific items. Areas will look different
across the time periods. Borrowing something from one time to solve the
puzzle in another is a great direction to take this franchise.
Nelly has been kidnapped by Totenkraft, and it's up to Tom to rescue his
sister. He does so by using a time traveling ring. This is a novel
approach that allows Treasure Seekers 4 The Time Has Come to be more
approachable to families. Things like ghosts and the paranormal are left
out. Treasure Seekers 4 The Time Has Come has taken a science fiction
path.
The diverse locales in Treasure Seekers 4 The Time Has Come all look
great. Some of them are cluttered with items, but that is to be
expected. I loves doing things like putting statues back together. I
also liked trying to track things like the Holy Grail down. The whole
Mayan end of the world in 2012 belief is not as interesting to me.
I enjoy the moody music in Treasure Seekers 4 The Time Has Come. I also
love how Tom goes to great lengths to save his kidnapped sister. He is
trying to save the world which is also an honorable endeavor. Treasure
Seekers 4 The Time Has Come is essentially a one shot. There are two
difficulty settings, but once you have gone through the story there will
be little interest to do it again any time soon. It can be interesting
to go through all four stories to see how cohesive it has become.
Multiple times I ran into issues that I feel fit into the category of
glitches. The game would tell me to do something like use the X-Glass.
The issue was the X-glass was not selectable. The only way I found past
this was to completely restart an area. I found the PC version of
Treasure Seekers 4 The Time Has Come has this problem as well. If
certain things are done out of order then you can hit these glitches.
This is a real shame because there are so many wonderful aspects to the
puzzles in Treasure Seekers 4 The Time Has Come.
The theme of saving ones family is a great lesson for all of us.
Treasure Seekers 4 The Time Has Come has players stopping an evil
character from destroying the world. We go to great lengths to keep this
digital world safe. I also like the idea of looking for hidden things.
Treasure Seekers 4 The Time Has Come can help us learn to pay more
attention to our surroundings.
