Spice Invaders

When I first heard about Spice Invaders I
thought it was going to be some spoof game off of Space Invaders. I was
way off base. Thankfully I am man enough to admit, and got back to the
bag before I got tagged out. So I went on a campaign to learn about
Spice Invaders. These pirates have come to earth to steal spice.
We have noticed companies are trying different models in terms of free
games. Spice Invaders is completely free to download, and free to play.
There is a small price you will pay though. This comes in the form of
advertisements. Also if you are not willing to grind to level up then
you will have to purchase the points to upgrade.
There are various camps of thought on this. Some gamers want to pay the
dollar, two dollars, three dollars, whatever and enjoy the game. Other
players want the free stuff and spend the time grinding to attain
everything. Still others will use the in app purchases to progress
through the game. It all depends on your preferences.
Spice Invaders is a tower defense game. That means vehicles will come
from one spot, and try to get to your base. If they get to your base and
destroy it then you lose the level. If you can hold off all of their
waves then you win. You hold them off by placing defenses. Cannons,
missiles, electricity, acid and more are at your disposal.
As players progress through Spice Invaders they can open up new levels
for their defenses. These level ups can be purchased within the game
levels to strength the defenses. Strategy is extremely important in this
hand held video game. Where defenses are places will determine whether
you win or lose. I had to replay certain levels because I was not sure
what path the enemy would take. Most levels in Spice Invaders are very
open.
I had fun playing Spice Invaders. I was also provided a gift card to
apply to the in app purchases. These helped move things quicker. I
however did some grinding as well, and did not mind it one bit. The
levels in Spice Invaders are intelligently designed. I enjoyed
experimenting with different defenses.
Spice Invaders is a solid tower defense games that can teach critical
thinking and strategy. Reactions are another lesson players can learn
from Spice Invaders. In terms of reacting to the path your opponent
takes. Oh didn't I mention the multiplayer mode in Spice Invaders? I am
so forgetful sometimes. Yes it has a multiplayer mode so you can play
against more than just the computer.
