Shaun the Sheep Fleece Lightning

Racing games on the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad
have received mixed reviews. Some do it right, and others we would like
to forget. So where does Shaun the Sheep Fleece Lightning fall? And wait
a minute we have a Shaun the Sheep game that is a racing game? Yes we
have a racing game based on Shaun the Sheep. It comes to us from our
friends over at Chillingo. And it falls on the upper end when it comes
how it fares.
Shaun the Sheep Fleece Lightning is a top down vertical racer. Your
sheep and pigs will start at the top of the screen in an overhead
viewpoint. Get to the bottom and make it through the gate to win. The
characters in Shaun the Sheep Fleece Lightning look like the same ones
they represent. There is definite barnyard humor in this app. The kind
that only Chillingo could bring to us.
The music is very mellow and tame in Shaun the Sheep Fleece Lightning.
The special sound effects is one of the areas that will bring a smile to
your face. I love hearing the sheep, pigs, and various environment
noises. The gate closing is one of my favorite sounds - as long as I am
on the bottom side of the gate.
Shaun the Sheep Fleece Lightning is an universal app. That means the
ninety-nine cent price allows you to play it on an iPhone, iPod Touch,
and iPad. No double purchase for a little bit better graphics on the
iPad. Our family appreciates that kind of business foresight. And yes
Family Friendly Gaming was provided a download code for this review.
Shaun the Sheep Fleece Lightning contains eighty levels in it. Which is
impressive. But there is more. Gamers can create their own challenging
levels in Shaun the Sheep Fleece Lightning. That means the only limit is
your imagination. There are various controls schemes. I found my
favorite (finger pressing where I wanted him to go), and it worked
marvelously.
The main lessons in Shaun the Sheep Fleece Lightning is to get from
point A to point B before anyone else. Bumping into other characters
will not help you, and it will rarely hurt them. So racing clean is
another lesson. I also learned to avoid obstacles and pay attention to
signs. There are arrows on the ground that show us which way to go in
certain areas of the levels. Chillingo has another hit on their hands
with Shaun the Sheep Fleece Lightning.
