Sesame Street Elmos Musical Monsterpiece The Video Game
SCORE: 92
I remember when our youngest loved Elmo. He would watch Elmo DVDs over and over again. He has since moved onto other educational DVDs like Larryboy and 321 Penguins. I know there are millions of kids out there that love Elmo. So it makes perfect sense to Warner Bros Interactive to release games on Elmo. I am reviewing the Nintendo DS version of Sesame Street Elmo's Musical Monsterpiece The Video Game. I did see some of the Wii version for reference.
Sesame Street Elmo's Musical Monsterpiece The Video Game looks good on the Nintendo DS. The characters animate properly, and are always friendly and happy. I also noticed their mouths moved with the voices. This may seem like a little thing, but its neat to see this kind of attention being given to a kids game. There is also an oddity in Sesame Street Elmo's Musical Monsterpiece The Video Game. The characters will have a missing animation when their sentence is done. This is noticeable on the Count especially.
Sesame Street Elmo's Musical Monsterpiece The Video Game revolves all around music. I love the part near the end where the characters want to have a monsterpiece. The Count reminds them that they have been doing it throughout the entire adventure. Which is what I thought as I played through this Nintendo DS game.
The controls in Sesame Street Elmo's Musical Monsterpiece The Video Game are easy for children to pick up and master. Adults will be thrilled that they do not need to help their children play Sesame Street Elmo's Musical Monsterpiece The Video Game. The instructions are given verbally and visually throughout this hand held game.
The mini games can be replayed in Sesame Street Elmo's Musical Monsterpiece The Video Game. This is the main replay value to this DS game. As an adult I breezed through Sesame Street Elmo's Musical Monsterpiece The Video Game in under an hour. And that was with waiting through all the instructions.
I enjoy reviewing kids games. They are clean, fresh, and fun. The big
question surrounding Sesame Street Elmo's Musical Monsterpiece The Video
Game is what do kids think. I was given all positive feedback from kids
who played Sesame Street Elmo's Musical Monsterpiece The Video Game.
They like and the know the characters in this game. They learn about
counting, shapes, colors, and of course music.
