I have the best dad in the entire world. All kids say it, but its totally true with my dad. I get to play all kinds of fun games thanks to my dad. How many other kids have dads who are major players in the video game industry? He is even letting me do this review. He is helping me write it, which is awesome.

Nintendo provided Family Friendly Gaming a loaner of Pokemon White 2 Pokemon Black 2. Actually just Pokemon Black 2. A loaner means we have to mail it back to them. So if you ask me questions I won't be able to research it, and neither will my dad. Unless we remember that part of the game.

We return to the Unova region two years after the last game. Plenty of things have changed. Some of them for the better. Team Plasma is back to their region conquering ways. It is up to us to collect the right team of six Pokemon to defeat them. Plenty of old friends return in Pokemon White 2 Pokemon Black 2.

Expect a lot of grinding in Pokemon White 2 Pokemon Black 2. I transferred Pokemon from other games to give myself an advantage. Yes I got all of them back, as well as some of the really cool Pokemon I collected in Pokemon White 2 Pokemon Black 2. The grinding is a part of Pokemon that is lame. A kid like me may not mind plopping fifty hours or more into beating this hand held game. But others want the story to flow a little quicker.

The biggest problem with Pokemon White 2 Pokemon Black 2 is how slow the story is. And then when it finally kicks into gear, I just wanted it to go away so I could get to the League. The main staple of Pokemon stays intact in Pokemon White 2 Pokemon Black 2. Get all the gym badges, fight the league, fight the champion, etc.

I do not like evolution in Pokemon White 2 Pokemon Black 2. They grow into something more powerful. In this day and age having that in there is lame. I tell my little brother they change into something else like a caterpillar into a butterfly. That is not evolving. So Nintendo needs to get with the times and progress past that.

The types and Legendaries can be confusing for rookie Pokemon players. I am a veteran of Pokemon now, and understand which types beat which other types. I hate the psychic types. They are over powered, and yes they have their weaknesses. But near the end of the game there are way too many of them.

It is neat that Nintendo is trying to create a role playing game for kids. Pokemon White 2 Pokemon Black 2 is really close to the last one in so many ways. I expect some people will feel it is too similar. I like the familiarity of it all though. Its nice to go back to something known and comfortable.

I know some people who complain about the commercial nature of Pokemon White 2 Pokemon Black 2. The whole Pokemon universe too. Is it any different than other things out there? What about Marvel with the comics, movies, and toys? What about Disney with all of their products? What about Veggie Tales toys, movies, and clothing? It is not like Nintendo is the only one who does this. Or the first one who has done it.

Thank you for reading my Pokemon White 2 Pokemon Black 2 review. I enjoyed getting to play this hand held game. I am sure it will do well in sales. I know some kids at school asking for it for Christmas.
