It is a real honor and a pleasure that I
am able to play and review Marvel Pinball Civil War. I played this on
Zen Pinball 2. This digital representation of pinball is amazing. Zen
Studios knows what they are doing in this realm. They should since they
have been doing it for so long.
Marvel comics had an event called Civil War. Super heroes and super
villains get into a battle. The end result is a city destroyed and
thousands are dead. The oppressive government decides all with powers
need to register with them. This pits heroes against heroes. Some agree
with the legislation and others are opposed. The end result is heroes
fighting against heroes as the government imposes its will upon the
rights of the people.
Visually Marvel Pinball Civil War looks like a pinball machine. There
are some nice special effects that go above and beyond. There is some
violence as characters attack one another. Much less violence in Marvel
Pinball Civil War than in other super hero games though.
The music in Marvel Pinball Civil War is epic. The voice acting is
exceptionally well done. I really enjoyed hearing the characters talk
about the events and to find out who was winning the civil war. I am
disappointed that Marvel Pinball Civil War contains some language
issues.
Marvel Pinball Civil War plays just like a pinball machine. It is one of
the forms of entertainment that I miss. Thankfully Marvel Pinball Civil
War takes up much less space than a real world pinball machine. The
board is fun to play, and exhibits an intelligent design.
It is wonderful that the Marvel Pinball franchise continues. I hope to
see even more tables from Zen Studios in the future. Marvel Pinball
Civil War is fun to play, and comes at a very low price.
