Magicians Handbook II Blacklore
SCORE: 60
Magician's Handbook II Blacklore is a
hidden object game where we take on the role of an aspiring magician.
Not one of those parlor trick ones either. We take on an occult kind of
magician. This fairy guides us thanks to a magical book. Each of the
eleven chapters are explains before we start. The storyline is
progressed slowly through these.
The last few chapters in Magician's Handbook II Blacklore drag out
extremely slowly. At that point I had lost all interest in finding the
hidden keys. These keys give us wants, and additional powers like
reveals. Each chapter provides the player five reveals. These are hints
in case the player gets stuck.
There are many occult images in Magician's Handbook II Blacklore. Also
images that could scare children. Certain screens in Magician's Handbook
II Blacklore are dark. The music is moody to fit those dark images. We
free fairies in Magician's Handbook II Blacklore. They diminish the
power of the evil character in Magician's Handbook II Blacklore.
Who is this evil character? Blacklore. A dead pirate who comes back
magically to imprison the fairies. They give him more power. We never
find Blacklore, so I have no idea what his motives are, or what his evil
plan was. We imprison him again, and all is well in this mystical land.
I will not spoil anymore plot points in Magician's Handbook II
Blacklore. There are a few things of interest near the end that will
warrant a player complete the game. The different game play modes can
add additional challenges for those who want it difficult. Players are
graded on each level. If you skip a puzzle then Magician's Handbook II
Blacklore will drop your grade to a 'C'. As a reviewer I did not really
care what my grade was. You may want to be the best you can be.
We have to go back to too many of the levels in Magician's Handbook II
Blacklore. Some of the hidden objects are repeated. I would tap around
at all the objects on the screen. Too many taps hurt my score, but I was
more interested in completing it. Tapping around the screen would get me
80% of the items, and then I could look for the last few. I wish
Magician's Handbook II Blacklore had shaken things up more. The occult
stuff is not to my personal liking either. Ghosts are on a couple of the
screens and are really freaky looking.
