Kinect Rush A Disney-Pixar Adventure
SCORE: 93
You may have heard or read before some of the challenge of working in the video game industry. Especially on the media side. There can be long nights, and tight deadlines. Everyone wants to get through the games and get their reviews online as close to the embargo date and time as possible. Thing is for me, this is never a complaint. I love it. Mainly because there are some wonderful games that come our way.
Take Kinect Rush A Disney-Pixar Adventure for example. This Xbox 360 Kinect title includes a park devoted to The Incredibles, Ratatouille, UP, Toy Story, and Cars. This home console title scans the family member, and then creates characters based off of them. So you become a super hero, a rat, an adventurer, a toy, and a car. Then we get dropped off into this wonderful Pixar Park. There are other children to play with. They are all fans of different franchises.
The first thing I noticed about Kinect Rush A Disney-Pixar Adventure is how good it looks visually. I noticed so many wonderful little details in these diverse worlds. There is some mild violence in different areas. We shoo birds away with a water hose for example. A helicopter is dropping bombs trying to stop our car is another one. Generally this is light and less than the movies themselves.
The presentation of Kinect Rush A Disney-Pixar Adventure is top
notch. I love how a child starts to explain the mission and then we hear
the Disney-Pixar character finish it off. This transitions us from the
park into the game level quite nicely. The voices from the franchises
are in Kinect Rush A Disney-Pixar Adventure, which is extremely
important. It adds to the realism of this fantasy adventure.
There are multiple games to play in Kinect Rush A Disney-Pixar Adventure. I count at least thirty-five. Then we have all the bonus content to unlock, and all the achievements to unearth. I feel that Kinect Rush A Disney-Pixar Adventure is worth the price of admission. I also believe Kinect Rush A Disney-Pixar Adventure is what Kinect Disneyland Adventures could have been. Microsoft Game Studios improved upon the formula in a variety of ways.
Kinect Rush A Disney-Pixar Adventure controls magnificently. Moving my arms up and down to walk around is simple, easy, and understandable. It also works better than walking in place. The games also control well, and are very forgiving to the family member playing. The levels can take anywhere from three to five minutes to complete.
The most intense thing about Kinect Rush A Disney-Pixar Adventure is you will wind up sweating. This Xbox 360 Kinect game is a great way to help kids get the wiggles out. It also can help adults shed some pounds in a fun way. Two family members can enjoy Kinect Rush A Disney-Pixar Adventure at the same time which is a nice addition.
I am personally a very big fan of the Cars franchise. We eat up Cars games here at Family Friendly Gaming. We love them. So having that franchise included in Kinect Rush A Disney-Pixar Adventure is a dream for us. Then we found out how much fun The Incredibles and Toy Story is. If you like any of these Disney-Pixar franchises you will enjoy playing in their worlds.
The main lesson in Kinect Rush A Disney-Pixar Adventure is helping others. I love how encouraging the various characters are. They also remind us that we are on a task, and encourage us to return to it if we start to wander. On screen visual control reminders help in case a family member is not certain what to do.
Kinect Rush A Disney-Pixar Adventure is a wonderful family friendly
title. I am very thankful I was able to play and review this home
console game. Your family will get a real kick out of this game.
Microsoft has another hit on their hands.
