Just Dance 4

When it comes Christmas time there are
some mega-awesome games that get released. We know them when we see them
here at Family Friendly Gaming. And we are so thankful to be allowed to
play them. Just Dance 4 impressed me at E3. Everything I saw at the only
gaming show worth going to was only the tip of the iceberg.
There is so much more in Just Dance 4 than I was expecting. Family
Friendly Gaming was provided the Xbox 360 version of Just Dance 4. The
menu screens are a huge step forward. The game gives you a right or a
left hand. Hold that hand over the spot you want and move towards the
Kinect sensor. The game knows you are pressing a button. Want to move
the song listing? Press a song and swipe away.
Just Dance 4 will have families sweating. In fact some songs allow for
four players. And we are not all flinging are arms around. We are
actually dancing together, moving around each other, and more. This
level of interactivity astounds me. And it also impresses me.
So you think you are all that and a bag of chips huh? Just Dance 4 lets
you make your own little funky movie off of your own dancing. The music
to the song plays while you can laugh at how silly you look. Or maybe I
am the only one who looks silly dancing to some of these songs.
You love that social media stuff? Well Just Dance 4 lets you upload your
little funky movies to Facebook, and share them with your friends.
Nothing like spreading the cheer as they watch you dance to the Time
Warp song. Yes that song is in Just Dance 4, along with some other
eclectic songs.
Families will be aware of some lyrics in a variety of the songs. I am
personally amazed at how diverse the line up is in Just Dance 4. Songs
from a variety of eras, styles, and genres are in Just Dance 4. The
dancers are also diverse in Just Dance 4. We have a super hero, pro
wrestlers and more. Certain moves are where the comic mischief comes
into play. As well as the Halloween theme to the Time Warp song.
Families do not need to stop with the track list that Just Dance 4 comes
with. There will be additional songs that can be downloaded. I am sure
there will be a small price for that. Just Dance 4 is U Play enabled. It
will ask for an account at the start of the game.
There are plenty of unlockables in Just Dance 4. Playing the main game
will have family members sweating. There is also a sweat mode for those
that want to lose even more calories. Just Dance TV is a neat feature
that I encourage families to explore after playing for a few days.
I appreciate that Ubisoft made improvements to the franchise. Just Dance
4 is the best mainline Just Dance game of all time. It is going to be
huge this Christmas. And many of us need to work off that turkey so a
little exercise thanks to Just Dance 4 is a good thing.
