Fix-it-up 80s Meet Kates Parents
SCORE: 72
Fix-it-up 80's Meet Kate's Parents takes
us back to the 1980s. We learn all about Kate's parents. Yeah I know
that was probably apparent from the name of this app. Maybe I just like
to state the obvious, okay? The formula from the previous games is
present. We purchase cars cheap, fix them up, paint them, trick them
out, and then sell them for much more money. Remember to keep a good
stock of parts.
Fix-it-up 80's Meet Kate's Parents is a time management game - which is
one of the things G5 Entertainment is known for. The car theme is
interesting, and it does teach basic economics. Stop me if you heard
this before - "buy low, sell high." Plus the characters in Fix-it-up
80's Meet Kate's Parents improve the product to put a better one back
into the market.
The graphics in Fix-it-up 80's Meet Kate's Parents look good. I enjoyed
looking at the cars, and all the little people. Okay so maybe that did
not come out right. The people are sorta smallish if you know what I
mean. Wow did we look like that in the 1980s? Certain styles are
historic if you know what I mean. A few of the female characters have
specific body parts accentuated. I did not need that.
There are forty-five levels in seven locations. Plus Fix-it-up 80's Meet
Kate's Parents also contains seven free play levels. I like the free
play levels much more than the ones that have me attain specific goals.
If you like time management games, then you can find some neat things to
the flow of Fix-it-up 80's Meet Kate's Parents.
Fix-it-up 80's Meet Kate's Parents does a wonderful job of easing the
player into this game. The challenges become more difficult as time
progresses. And as you continue to complete levels. I found fun in
purchasing, fixing, and improving vehicles before selling them. I am not
so thrilled with constantly having to purchase parts. This gets old, and
slows down the pace.
I may not be thrilled about purchasing parts, but it is very realistic
in this automobile economical educational app. The basic concepts of how
a business works is found in Fix-it-up 80's Meet Kate's Parents. I am
thankful that I was allowed to review Fix-it-up 80's Meet Kate's
Parents. This is neat little game that will interest families.
Especially those that enjoyed previous games in this franchise.
