ESPN Sports Connection

ESPN Sports Connection is impressive. This
Wii U home console video game includes six sports. There is Baseball,
Football, Soccer, Tennis, Golf, and Kart Racing. All these are above
mini games, but below a full game of the sport. Combine them all into
one disc and families will get their moneys worth.
The first thing that stick out about ESPN Sports Connection to me is the
graphics. This is one beautiful looking Wii U game. I noticed neat
little details like the grass, and water. Ubisoft has some great visual
effects in ESPN Sports Connection. This Wii U game is so bright and
colorful.
The music in ESPN Sports Connection is upbeat, exciting, and dramatic. I
felt like playing more games after winning. There are a ton of
achievements in ESPN Sports Connection. Which came as a surprise to me.
I loved acquiring as many achievements as I could. You can bean a batter
in Baseball for an achievement. I did so by accident.
The controls in ESPN Sports Connection are masterfully created. The
inclusion of the Wii U controller is perfect. I loved moving it around
with the glove to catch the ball in Baseball while fielding. Regular Wii
Remotes can be used for additional players. One of the things we did
here at Family Friendly Gaming was have one player play offense, and
another play defense. That way controllers did not need to be swapped.
Most of the games in ESPN Sports Connection can be played on the Wii U
controller. The Golf game is the one exception. That reminds me,
families need the Wii Motion Plus controllers to play with ESPN Sports
Connection. I ran into an error with the game not able to use an older
Wii Remote.
Families can have a great time with ESPN Sports Connection. The six
different sports are diverse enough to interest a wide array of family
members. I really enjoy Baseball, Football, and Kart Racing in ESPN
Sports Connection. Those are my three favorites. Tennis and Soccer are
decent. I am not good at the golf game - I had problems gauging
distance. Maybe with some practice I will improve.
Families should be able to enjoy months of game time out of ESPN Sports
Connection. The modes, achievements, and atmosphere are all super. ESPN
Sports Connection is one of my personal favorite Wii U launch titles. It
was obviously created with families in mind.
