Babysitting Mama

Paul told me about Babysitting Mama during E3 in the year of our Lord 2010. For some odd reason a reviewable copy did not arrive. Maybe another site with a copycat name was given the copy meant for us. Maybe there were not enough copies, and our millions of readers were not enough to warrant a copy. I don’t know, and honestly it does not really matter. Paul was actually loving enough to save up his scarce spending money so I could play Babysitting Mama on the Wii. I am so thankful he did.

Babysitting Mama has families put the Wii Remote into the baby peripheral. In fact the baby peripheral is one of the coolest things about Babysitting Mama. The baby is very cute, and has the Mama franchise look. The Nunchuk plugs into the Wii Remote, and can get in the way during game play.

Babysitting Mama reminds players to never shake a baby. This is one of the best lessons any family member can learn. Maybe certain high profile children murder crimes would not have happened if the mothers had played this Wii game. I do know if they had a relationship with Jesus Christ they would not have killed their own kids.

The images in Babysitting Mama are all completely, and totally mama. This franchise has scored amazingly well, and Babysitting Mama was the only game in this franchise Family Friendly Gaming has not reviewed. Cooking Mama 2 on the Nintendo DS received a perfect 100 score. It is one of three games out of the over 2100 reviewed that have gotten a perfect score. So the Mama franchise has been well received here at FFG. Babysitting Mama keeps images safe for the family. Babies are not anatomically correct.

The baby sounds in Babysitting Mama are exceptionally well done. I really appreciate being able to hear sounds from the television and from the Wii Remote. Mama is so very encouraging. She teaches about never shaking a baby. I can not say enough good things about that. It gets me so angry to hear about a parent who injured or killed a baby because they shook it.

There are forty mini games in Babysitting Mama. They have the babysitter moving the baby in certain motions or using the Nunchuk for certain movements. Babysitting Mama also includes a multiplayer mode that is fun for more than one member of the family at a time. My hubby was man enough to play Babysitting Mama.

There is something so fun about playing Babysitting Mama. I enjoy the different mini games, albums and more in this game. With that said Babysitting Mama can be a little sensitive at times. I was patting the baby’s back to burp it. I have burped real babies, and used the same force. From time to time the game would warn me about shaking the baby. The Wii game thought I was being too rough. Which was not accurate.

It is so great to raise a child, and the baby stage is one of the more interesting ones. I applaud Majesco Entertainment for publishing Babysitting Mama. Games like this improve the image of the video game industry and prove there are intelligent people developing video games. It was a pleasure for me to review Babysitting Mama.
