Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood

Sonic the Hedgehog has been around since the 16-bit era, and been in all kinds of video games. Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood is the first time Sonic was in a role playing game. Well known developer Bioware is the company that took on this task, and put it on the Nintendo DS. Sega deserves a lot of credit by allowing this game to be created. Fans of Sonic games will take an interest in Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood, but role playing gamers are the ones who should pay real attention to this hand held video game.

The graphics in Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood are gorgeous. The environments look amazing, as do the characters. The battle screens drop that shock and awe a little bit though. The role playing violence is where players enter the command, and watch the character enact it. There is a little more to it, but we will get there in just a few. Rogue could have used some more clothes in her upper region.

The music in Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood is incredible. The Sonic sounds fit perfectly in this game, and there are some new ones that also fit. The dialogue is the standard save the world from an evil. Yeah not exactly the newest thing on the planet.

Each area has a certain number of coins, and there are also a certain number of Chao eggs. Equipping Chao give the player new skills for various characters. Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood contains some equipping items, and there are various skills that can be purchased after leveling up. Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood includes a multi-card download play for two players.

Speaking of leveling up - it takes forever in Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood. Grinding is not much fun in this Nintendo DS game mainly because battles take forever. And well there is another reason. There are multiple parts in Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood where the player can only handle one battle, need to heal before the next one. The flow is not that great in this hand held game. If you can handle the flow problem then you come face to face with the attentive battle system. Enemies will launch powerful attacks that can be deflected if certain commands are followed on the screen at the right times.

During the dialogue phase of Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood there are multiple choices the player can answer with. The mischievous answers are definitely on edge. Parents need to be aware of bad attitudes and insults in this part of Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood. A sequel would be of interest especially if grinding was fixed.
