LittleBigPlanet 2 Special Edition
SCORE: 92
I have never personally been a fan of
special edition versions of games. Especially if you already purchased
the first version. With that said LittleBigPlanet 2 Special Edition
includes over thirty-five dollars of bonus content. The Playstation Move
compatibility has also been added. These two change a few things. If you
have not previous played LittleBIGPlanet 2, then you definitely want to
check out LittleBIGPlanet 2 Special Edition.
The concept behind this franchise is pretty simple - Play, Create, and
Share. Play LittleBIGPlanet 2 Special Edition and collect various
important items. These can be ways to modify your SackBoy, stickers,
decorations, and/or creation items. Once the player has collected enough
items, they can start to create their very own levels on their personal
moon. Then you can share those with other players. Or you can see what
others have created.
The graphics are very impressive in LittleBIGPlanet 2 Special Edition.
Players need to jump on certain enemies to get rid of them, and to throw
items at other enemies. This is the extent of the violent content in
LittleBIGPlanet 2 Special Edition. I honestly expected a lot more
violent content, and find LittleBIGPlanet 2 Special Edition to be very
safe for most ages of the family.
The music and humor stick out for me. The characters do not take
themselves too seriously even though The Sucker could remove them from
this universe at any point in time. The music is very diverse in
LittleBIGPlanet 2 Special Edition. I found certain levels that I did not
want to leave because I enjoyed the music so much. When it comes to
level creation time, there is a Music Sequencer in LittleBIGPlanet 2
Special Edition. This allows gamers to design their own custom music
with multiple instruments.
Getting to use the Playstation Move with LittleBIGPlanet 2 Special
Edition is wonderful. I really enjoyed how this changed the controls in
the game for the better. They were not just tacked on either. Sony
obviously thought about what they were doing. This enhances
LittleBIGPlanet 2 Special Edition in some neat ways.
I am recommending LittleBIGPlanet 2 Special Edition to family and
friends who have not played LittleBIGPlanet 2. This Playstation 3 game
exhibits many of the good points of the video game industry. Getting to
create your own content and share that with others is fantastic.
LittleBIGPlanet 2 Special Edition fleshes out a story much more than the
original. Sure it may be tongue in cheek, but I believe it helps start
the creative juices flowing. It was a real pleasure and a joy for me to
play and review LittleBIGPlanet 2 Special Edition. Players get to help
out the Alliance in their time of need, which is a nice lesson.
LittleBIGPlanet 2 got a perfect one hundred score in the replay section.
Our review scale does not go any higher. So even though there is more
content, the score in that section can not be effected at all. Still
there are months of replay in LittleBIGPlanet 2 Special Edition. If you
enjoy creating things you will get your moneys worth out of
LittleBIGPlanet 2 Special Edition.
