Kid vs Kat Kat Attack
SCORE: 72
I have been finding entertainment in tower
defense games in recent months. Kid vs Kat Kat Attack is an open grid
tower defense game. Players have to stop the enemies by placing towers
in whatever formation they see fit. I found the best way to survive into
later waves was to make the enemies take the longest path possible.
There is no resource management in Kid vs Kat Kat Attack. Players start
with so much money and get more for defeating enemies. I had not heard
of the Kid vs Kat franchise before, so Kid vs Kat Kat Attack is a neat
introduction for me. This little boy is on a mission to stop the evil
cat. Maybe I will check out the show one of these days.
At first I was not even sure if the towers were defending in Kid vs Kat
Kat Attack. I did not notice much violence come out of them. I was able
to tell with more powerful weapons. I like how this hand held game tones
down the violence. Kid vs Kat Kat Attack has some good colors, and
fascinating art work. I noticed there is also some humor in the animated
movies.
The music and special effect sounds in Kid vs Kat Kat Attack are
powerful. They really got me ready to get going. I had to slow myself
down a few times because this game is more about strategy than rushing
into action. Numerous waves will keep you busy in the various levels of
Kid vs Kat Kat Attack. Do not expect to breeze through this game either.
Kid vs Kat Kat Attack is one of the most difficult tower defense games I
have ever played. In fact the learning curve is steep. I had to work
just to get to the last wave of the first level. I replayed it over and
over again. Kid vs Kat Kat Attack does an adequate job of training the
player. I also found that trial and error were good teachers.
When we first started to play Kid vs Kat Kat Attack, it crashed. Konami
fixed the problem and released an upgrade. If you were an early adopter
and had Kid vs Kat Kat Attack crash on you, let me explain how to get it
working. First off remove it from your iPad. Then upgrade on the PC/MAC,
and load that upgrade to your iPad. If when you start a level there are
enemies already on the field, restart the level. This will allow you to
play Kid vs Kat Kat Attack without it crashing.
The lesson in Kid vs Kat Kat Attack is to stop the evil cat. Do this by
putting obstacles in the way that will stop his massive amount of
minions. I wish Kid vs Kat Kat Attack was a little easier at the
beginning. The difficulty level is tweaked a little too high in my
opinion. I do hope to see more games like this in the future.
