Curious George 2 Follow that Monkey picks up where the last movie left off. Ted (the man in the yellow hat) is now up to replace Mr Bloomsberry at the museum. He starts obsessing over his presentation to the board. Maggie and George are both crying for attention. Ted gets part of a clue, and takes them to see a magic show with an elephant. George gets curious, and accidentally takes the elephant home. George realizes the elephant wants to see his family back in California. In the meantime the owner reports his elephant has been kidnapped.

The soft look and feel to the graphics works wonderfully in Curious George 2 Follow that Monkey. The movies look way better than the PBS cartoons do. Curious George 2 Follow that Monkey is alive with color all over the place. There is some mild peril here and there in some rare situations. I appreciate how much love is in this movie. Ted realizes what is really important - family. At Family Friendly Gaming that message carries a lot of weight.

Over and over again Ted tries to explain to George that they can not keep the elephant. George does not comprehend, but I like how Ted tries to explain it to him. Curious George 2 Follow that Monkey has some humor in it that all ages will enjoy. Kids love the interaction between the animals. I enjoyed the various music that is on this DVD. My children did not comment on it though.

Curious George 2 Follow that Monkey has two television shows included as part of the extras. That alone makes this DVD worth a purchase in my opinion. There are also games that can be played on DVD players, a music video, and more. Children really enjoy this movie, and I have not minded it. I can see myself enjoying this movie when I can recite it by heart.

The storyline involves a comedy of errors. Mix that with an over zealous security guard, and the chase is on. Kids can learn that they should not steal, and that family is very important. It is worth a mention that George steals food for himself and the elephant while they are on the train. The menu screens display an intelligent design that is easy to navigate through.

I came away impressed with Curious George 2 Follow that Monkey. After the first movie, and all of the television show episodes I was not sure what they could do for a sequel. Curious George 2 Follow that Monkey is a great sequel that brings back the awe and wonder at our world. Having trains, and a farm in it also helps. I had a lot of fun watching Curious George 2 Follow that Monkey, and do children who watched it with me. I hope they come up with a third movie in a year or two.
