Chronicles of Mystery The Tree of Life
SCORE: 65
The best way I can describe Chronicles of Mystery The Tree of Life is
a Nancy Drew mystery for adults. What I mean by that is there is a lot
of content not appropriate in this PC DVD game for the younger members
of the family. The player gets to go on a quest to unravel a mystery
involving a secret society. If they were out in the open it would not be
much a mystery. What is the main female character seeking? The Tree of
Life.
The visuals in Chronicles of Mystery The Tree of Life are very
realistic. I enjoyed the detail in much of this game. That is a two
edged sword though because violent content is also realistic. I should
add to a point, because the animation is stiff. Characters walk around
in such a way that the player can tell they are computer generated. This
is not a bad thing, just something I noticed in this Personal Computer
video game.
Sylvie has to face some nasty characters in Chronicles of Mystery The
Tree of Life. Not only is there language but also dialogue I found to be
sexually suggestive. The music in this game is moody and fits the theme
of a mystery. The voice acting in Chronicles of Mystery The Tree of Life
is okay. Nothing stuck out to me as ultra emotional, but it was better
than people just reading lines.
Most gamers will spend a lot of hours trying to beat Chronicles of
Mystery The Tree of Life. The puzzles in this game can tax the brain. A
smart player will sleep on some of problems. Only one player can play
this game at a time, however there are multiple saves. The downside to
the puzzles in this PC game is they can get under your skin. Be careful
that you do not start obsessing over them.
City Interactive included some cool features that make Chronicles of
Mystery The Tree of Life easier to play. There is a button to see
everything the player can interact with on a screen. This is a neat tool
that made finding things easier. Other games get the player stuck
because something was not clicked on. Chronicles of Mystery The Tree of
Life can be difficult in parts, however there is a sense of
accomplishment when a problem is solved.
The thing I like the most about Chronicles of Mystery The Tree of Life
is the goal of unearthing the truth. The storyline is fantasy based even
if there are real cities included. Older members of the family who want
to interact with a mystery novel will take interest in Chronicles of
Mystery The Tree of Life. The alcohol and tobacco could have been left
on the drawing board. Maybe in a sequel.
