Caspers Scare School Classroom Capers
SCORE: 61
Casper has been too friendly, and must go back to school - scare
school that is. This is the premise to Casper's Scare School Classroom
Capers on the Nintendo DS. Players move Casper around the classroom
where he picks up items, hands them over to other characters, and gets
another item. This process is repeated until Casper has the end item.
Then Casper must go to his desk.
There is a ghoulish theme to Casper's Scare School Classroom Capers.
Ghosts, vampires, mummies, zombies, etc. are present in Casper's Scare
School Classroom Capers. They are done in a cartoonish manner. But still
some of the images could scare children. Parents should check out this
Nintendo DS hand held video game before giving to their children. I can
imagine children asking all kinds of questions about various characters
in this game.
The music in Casper's Scare School Classroom Capers fits the theme of
the DS game. Players are required to scare the teacher, sneak around
behind their backs, and avoid the bully. Trading items between
characters is a great play mechanic in my opinion. Casper's Scare School
Classroom Capers is a little light on special sound effects in my
opinion.
Casper's Scare School Classroom Capers includes twenty four levels. Even
though they become increasingly difficult this game can be beaten in a
few hours. Only one player can participate in this Nintendo DS game at a
time. After Casper's Scare School Classroom Capers is beaten I can see
few reasons to replay it. If you really like this game play, then you
may want to.
Speaking of the game play in Casper's Scare School Classroom Capers, we
use the stylus to move Casper around the screen. The main goal is avoid
being seen out of a seat, and to not run into anyone walking around. One
of the children I let play Casper's Scare School Classroom Capers asked
if there was anything else to do in this game. Some variety to the game
play would have helped.
I had always thought of Casper as a very friendly, and happy character.
Casper's Scare School Classroom Capers is a little darker than I
remember the franchise. But things change over time, and cartoons get
reinvented. In some ways by helping out the other students with
bartering we are keeping Casper friendly, and avoiding being a scary
character.
