Imagine Boutique Owner

Imagine Boutique Owner

Imagine Boutique Owner is a reader requested review. This game teaches players how to be an owner of a store in a rudimentary way. Girls are the target audience and that has a lot to do with the items sold in the store. The storyline follows your grandfather who gives you the store. He has reached retirement age, but he sticks around to teach you how to do things in the store.

There is a nice soft look to Imagine Boutique Owner. I like the artistic style, and am happy that it is kept safe for families. Various color are used, and that is one of the ways items are distinguished for customers. The design areas of this DS game also heavily uses the colors. The worst image I saw in Imagine Boutique Owner is a frown face on a customer when I brought them the wrong item.

The music is okay in Imagine Boutique Owner. It did not thrill me, nor did it annoy me. I like how service is the main point of this hand held game. Most of the customers are coming into the store to purchase a gift for someone else, so that is also a nice little touch. I did not find any offensive language while playing Imagine Boutique Owner.

Imagine Boutique Owner can have a lot of replay value as long as you enjoy designing your own unique gifts. The story mode will keep girls busy for a few weeks. If you get stuck in what to do in a chapter, go to the cash register. Goals that have not been completed are there. The tutorial mode of Imagine Boutique Owner eases girls into the game.

The level of realism in this game surprised me. Man the cash register, and count out the right change for the customer. Not every customer will pay with cash though, so swiping a card is also a part of Imagine Boutique Owner. Moving around is easy with the touch screen. The only issue I have is there is a lot of stuff in the store, and it is easy running into a counter. It is easy to move around them once I noticed I was not moving because something was between my character and my objective.

I love it when a game teaches service. The core lesson in Imagine Boutique Owner is helping others find what they are looking for. This is the job of a sale associate, store managers, and of course boutique owners. Ubisoft has really been thinking outside the box with many of their recent casual video games, and Imagine Boutique Owner is another notch on their belt. I would like to see a sequel to this DS game.
