The Suite Life of Zack and Cody Tipton Trouble
SCORE: 84
The Suite Life of Zack and Cody Tipton Trouble on the Nintendo DS is a fascinating video game that features cooperative game play between two brothers. This video game follows the antics of two kids who live in a hotel. They create mischief, but also help out others in the hotel. The Disney channel has the television show for those that are interested. The WMG can not really stand the show, but found this Nintendo DS video game to be well thought out, and entertaining.
The Suite Life of Zack and Cody Tipton Trouble may win the award for having one of the longest titles, but will not win any awards for the graphical content. The visuals are not horrible, but the character models do not look like their respective real life counterparts. It is pretty clear to the WMG that there was more effort put into the design of the levels than how the levels work. One can certainly adjust to the graphics especially when noticing how much is included in the background. There is some cartoon violence as one of the brothers shoots water balloons out of his vacuum cleaner.
Musically this game is pretty good. The WMG enjoyed the sounds, especially the special effects. There were no language issues discovered while playing The Suite Life of Zack and Cody Tipton Trouble. Why can’t other game developers do that?
There is a decent length of game play found in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody Tipton Trouble. Once the game is beaten however there is little reason to replay it. There is a skateboard mini game, but few will find that of interested in the WMG’s ever so humble opinion. This game can be found cheap, and fans of the show should take a look at it.
The game play aspect is where this game really shines. The different skills along with cooperation required to get through the different areas is spectacular. The design shows some serious intelligence. The layout of the touch controls makes this one of the better controlling Nintendo DS games on the market. Buena Vista Games certainly knows what they are doing, and it shows with The Suite Life of Zack and Cody Tipton Trouble.
The boys do get into some
trouble in this game, but they also help out others who need it. The
cartoon violence is mild (water balloons after all), so the WMG feels
this is a decent game for kids. If graphics could be improved (even
slightly) then a sequel or two would be most welcome indeed.
