Brain Age 2 More Training in Minutes a Day
SCORE: 95
Dr. Kawashima is back on the Nintendo DS with Brain Age 2 More
Training in Minutes a Day! There are plenty of all new mental exercises
to perform on the hand held as long as you hold the Nintendo DS sideways
(like a book). The game still tests the player’s brain age, and gives
advice on how to improve the next time. Over one hundred new Sudoku
puzzles are also included. So if you are ready to flex your cortex
again, then this little cartridge may be right up your alley.
There have been some slight graphical improvements in Brain Age 2
More Training in Minutes a Day! In fact some color has been used in a
few areas of the game. Sure the last game had a color test, but that was
the main extent to the colors. I really like the professor’s head and
all of his animations. It adds some definite character to this game. I
did not see any offensive images while playing this game.
I really like the sounds in Brain Age 2 More Training in Minutes a
Day! The piano playing is a wonderful addition to this series. All of
these sounds are very crisp and clear. The congratulation sounds are
very encouraging. The different voices saying words at the same time is
confusing, but done in a way to test how we hear. I did not hear any
offensive sounds while playing Brain Age 2.
Brain Age 2 More Training in Minutes a Day! is a game that can be
played for a few minutes a day. Few people will go on Brain Age
marathons. But after playing this game for just a few days, I can
already notice some improvements in my mental faculties. A player could
be playing both Brain Age, and Brain Age 2 on the same days, and
experience double improvements. I feel this game is worth your money,
and I am a very frugal with my money.
Brain Age 2 More Training in Minutes a Day! may make you improve your
penmanship, especially when writing numbers. The different tests work
well, and there are intelligent rules that make sense in explaining how
to play them. The only issue I found is the voice recognition. The
original game had the same problem. Sometimes the game would not
recognize me saying the word Rock, Paper, or Scissors. Having to say it
a second time cost me time, which led to a lower score.
I really like to see video games like Brain Age 2 More Training in
Minutes a Day! The whole concept behind this game is to improve your
mind. Video games teach a wide array of things, and this one teaches
wonderful lessons. Brain Age 2 also receives the FFG seal of approval.
