UNDAUNTED
There have already been some amazingly
powerful films released in the year of our Lord 2012. That trend is
continuing with UNDAUNTED from Echo Light Studios. This film follows the
early life of Josh McDowell. He was raised by an alcoholic father, a
very overweight mother, and a farm hand that sexually abused him from
the ages of six until thirteen. He was angry at the world, angry at God,
and would mock Christians. Not the kind of person any human would expect
to become a champion defender of the Christian faith.
Yet things happened to Josh he was not expecting. He was challenged to
disprove the resurrection of Jesus Christ. After all if he could
disprove that, then he would debunk Christianity. Off to Europe he went
to research early manuscripts. Near the end of that trip he realized
that he could not disprove or debunk it. Why not? It was true.
Intellectually he had found truth. But that was not the end of his
journey, nor did that save him.
UNDAUNTED is a powerful film that millions can enjoy and utilize as an
evangelical tool. UNDAUNTED can bring people to Christ. It can also show
us what true pain, anger and suffering is all about. God has used Josh
McDowell in powerful ways over the years, and UNDAUNTED is another
example of this. I am very thankful that Family Friendly Gaming was
provided an early screening of this powerful film.
