Family Friendly Gaming has had some bad experiences with offroad adventure video games in the past. When I got to sit down (on a very comfy couch) with the developer at E3 in the Disney Interactive booth for a private meeting I was a little apprehensive. Watching him play, and then embarrassing myself playing it put me at ease. This Xbox 360, Personal computer, and Playstation 3 video game looks great, plays good ( controls are a bit on the touchy side), and has a lot of strategy. Players earn boosts by performing tricks. The higher the trick meter the more impressive tricks that can be performed. Use the boost, and lose the ability to perform massive tricks. Players must find the right balance. Speaking of balance there are multiple paths to the finish line on every race. Intelligent players will watch the computer to find some of these secret shortcuts in order to be first. The mud effect is included, and the racer at the end is nowhere near as clean as they were at the beginning. Pure will also include an insane amount of customization of the ATV’s. Mechanical players can build an entire machine from the bottom up. {08/18/2008} - Paul
