Gurumin A Monstrous Adventure

Gurumin A Monstrous Adventure is one of the most interesting Playstation Portable titles I have played in awhile. This PSP game is an action adventure hack and slash style along the lines of The Legend of Zelda. The characters are kept approachable and cheery in this game however. The main character is a female who acquires a magic drill. Phantoms attack monsters, and she is the only human who can see both of them. The game is generally on the easier side, with some amazing music. The E10+ rating is well deserved as the main game play mechanic is to slice and dice enemy creatures as they get in the players way. There are some puzzle elements in Gurumin A Monstrous Adventure, but nothing too difficult (i.e. move this box on top of this switch). There is some excellent voice acting done by professional actors to add to the feel of this game. Aside from the violence there are some un-needed sexual content, tobacco, and a slight camera issue. {03/04/2008} - Paul
