The Eggcellent Dizzy Collection Announced

Family Friendly Gaming News

Coventry, 17 October in the year of our Lord 2026: Philip and Andrew Oliver, the original creators of Dizzy, are announcing The Eggcellent Dizzy Collection at Crash Live in Coventry at 12 noon today, bringing Dizzy the Adventurer, Go! Dizzy Go! and Panic! Dizzy together on one mega 16 bit cartridge.

With Dizzy turning 40 in 2027, the collection celebrates one of British gaming’s most recognisable characters, and the fans who have kept his adventures alive for nearly four decades.

The line-up combines fairy-tale adventure, colourful maze action and brain-teasing puzzles. Players can set out to rescue Daisy in Dizzy the Adventurer, tackle the arcade challenges of Go! Dizzy Go!, and test their thinking and reflexes across three puzzle challenges in PANIC! Dizzy.

Designed for long-standing collectors and newcomers alike, the release offers a chance to put a new Dizzy cartridge on the shelf and rediscover the humour, imagination and playful challenges that made the character a favourite.

First published by Codemasters in 1987, Dizzy helped establish the Oliver Twins as familiar names in British gaming when they were teenagers. The Eggcellent Dizzy Collection begins a new chapter as his 40th-anniversary year approaches.
