STARBITES Demo is on Steam

May 7, in the year of our Lord 2026 -- NIS America is excited to announce a Steam demo is now available for STARBITES, with PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch demos coming soon.

Play through the prologue of the upcoming RPG STARBITES as Lukida, Badger and Gwendoll! Try the battle system’s unique mechanics, like Driver’s High and Barrier Break, and begin leveling up each character’s talent tree!

Down-on-her-luck Lukida finally has a ticket to get off the desert planet of Bitter. But on a routine scavenger job, a giant Motorbot shows up and knocks her unconscious. When she wakes up in one piece (adding only more burden to her debt), she discovers her ticket has been stolen! Lukida enlists the help of her friends Gwendoll and Badger to track down the thief and get back her first chance at a new life!

Demo save data will transfer to the final game upon release.

The game is still available to pre-order in both Standard and Limited Edition formats, and a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upgrade pack will also be available for $4.99 at launch!
