Nimbit Frontier Release Date
Family Friendly Gaming News
[June 29, in the year of our Lord 2026] -
Megasploot is excited to announce that Nimbit Frontier, a cozy
creature-collecting life sim about conservation, discovery, and
small-town life, will launch in Steam Early Access on August 17,
2026. Is it family friendly?
In Nimbit Frontier, players arrive in the frontier town of Star's
End and begin restoring lost species known as Nimbits. Instead of
collecting creatures to battle, players care for them, build
habitats suited to their needs, help them grow, and eventually
release them into sanctuaries where they can thrive in the wild
again.
Life on the frontier is not all quiet mornings and creature care.
Players will explore the mysterious Underwild in roguelike
expeditions, recover genetic fragments from Mimocks, gather rare
resources, fish, collect museum specimens, upgrade tools, and get to
know the townsfolk of Star's End. Between dives, players can
decorate habitats, raise Nimbits, build relationships, and even
pursue romance.
Features
Creature care with a conservation twist: Raise Nimbits, meet their
habitat needs, and release them into sanctuaries instead of keeping
them forever.
Habitat building: Create homes with the right terrain, food,
shelter, and environmental features for each species.
Roguelike exploration: Venture into the Underwild to recover genetic
fragments, battle Mimocks, gather resources, and unlock new
discoveries.
Small-town life: Meet the residents of Star's End, build
friendships, and grow closer to romanceable characters.
Cozy progression: Fish, collect museum specimens, upgrade tools,
discover new species, and help the frontier recover one day at a
time.
