House Flipper 2 Sakura DLC
Family Friendly Gaming News
Cracow, Poland – May 21, in the year of our Lord 2026
– Just weeks after the recent 90,000 player peak in the original
House Flipper, the most visually stunning House Flipper 2 DLC to
date becomes available to all the fixer-upper fans around the world.
The DLC is priced at $14.99 across Steam, PlayStation®5, and Xbox
Series X|S.
Ever dreamt of visiting Japan during the cherry blossom season? Or
imagined moving to the countryside to renovate an abandoned house?
The new House Flipper 2 DLC sets out to explore both traditional and
modern Japanese architecture while staying true to the game's cozy,
relaxing atmosphere.
The scope of the Sakura DLC has grown significantly in recent months
and surpassed the amount of content Frozen District promised in the
initial reveal!
The standout addition is doubling the number of Japan-themed items,
reaching over 600! From classic paper walls to Japandi furniture,
from traditional painting and ceramics to smart bathrooms. This is
the best chance to have fun with new architectural styles or relax
while designing a perfect zen garden!
Features in the Sakura DLC for House Flipper 2 will include:
- 600+ Japan-themed items, including furniture, plants, decorations,
traditional paper walls, windows, and more!
- 5 jobs ranging from cozy tearoom to abandoned primary school
- 5 characteristic Japanese houses to renovate
- 5 new buyers interested in traditional Japanese architecture
- 3 variants of a Japanese countryside environment with a springtime
Mt. Fuji view
- New collectibles to find
- 3 intricate wooden assemblies
- A set of new, surprising achievements
“Here at Frozen District, lots of the devs are extremely passionate
about everything Japanese - constantly learning about the language
and the culture. Our team traveled to Japan on a couple of occasions
- most recently with inspiration for this very DLC in mind!
We can confidently say that this was a passion project for many of
us here, and we went above and beyond to bring you a special kind of
experience with this one!”
Alongside the DLC launch, Frozen District is bringing a free Buyers
2.0 Update to House Flipper 2!
As the name suggests, the crucial part of this update is the vastly
improved system for the in-game buyers, which includes:
- Feedback during auctions: likes, dislikes, and comments on your
work!
- A bunch of new buyers, and a refreshed version of the old ones!
- Detailed buyer profiles.
- Buyer moodboards.
Beyond that, there are the long-awaited empty plots for Story Mode,
roof building improvements, a bunch of QoL features aimed at motion
sickness, and more than 100 new items available in the shop!
Frozen District is participating in Endix - a free virtual gaming
convention where everybody’s welcome!
On May 23-24, anyone willing to take a look at the new DLC as well
as other projects from Frozen District is free to do so through
Endix!
All that’s to be done is download Endix on Steam or Epic Games
Launcher, create a character, and visit the Frozen District Area.
It’s a great chance to talk to the developers of House Flipper 2,
ask some questions, and share any suggestions!
